One of the most famous wildlife encounters ever filmed brought together lions, Cape buffalo and crocodiles at a watering hole in Kruger National Park. What begins as a predator attacking young prey develops into a chaotic confrontation involving multiple species.
The famous “Battle at Kruger” video was filmed in 2004 and later became a major YouTube viral sensation. It has been viewed tens of millions of times and is remembered because the outcome repeatedly changes as the buffalo defend themselves and other animals enter the confrontation.
This is the perfect example of why real wildlife doesn't always follow the script. A predator may appear to have won, only for the prey to fight back. Then another predator arrives. In nature, the situation can change in seconds.
